根据 RNA 在另一篇文章中的建议：

 sudo rm /var/lib/update-notifier/user.d/data-downloads-failed

已于 14.04 修复。

我在 12.04 LTS 中删除了此文件，无需重新安装 flashplugin。现在可以正常工作，启动时没有错误消息！

更正：第二天错误信息再次出现，尝试了清除方法并重新安装了 flashplugin，错误信息立即出现。
