这不是 Cups 或 Brother 独有的。但这是针对 Brother 打印机的 Ubuntu 13 的文档问题。
由于 Brother 驱动程序是 32 位的，当您尝试执行它们时，您将收到文件未找到错误，尽管您仍然可以 ls 它们、归档它们（stat 它们）。
Brother docs 说要安装 ia-32libs。但是这个包在 Ubuntu 13 中不再存在。获取相同功能的方法是通过：
sudo apt-get 安装 gcc-4.7-multilib
一旦安装了这个软件包，我现在就可以执行 32 位二进制文件，因此打印机现在就可以工作了！
