我今天在 Dell Optiplex 745 上安装了 Ubuntu 11.10。我无法使用 LiveCD 连接到互联网，但我还是安装了它。它仍然不起作用。这是第一次在这台电脑上安装 Linux。Windows XP 连接没有问题。

我有一个 Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx 千兆控制器。

我尝试删除 NetworkManager 并使用 dhclient，但它也不起作用。

我也尝试过：

modprobe tg3

进而：

dhclient eth0

最后一个命令永远运行。我不知道这是好是坏。当我这样做时：

ping google.com

或者尝试用 Firefox 打开页面，出现连接错误。

dhclient负责 DHCP。由于它永远运行，所以您无法获取 IP 地址；因此无法连接。

欲了解更多信息，请使用man dhclient。

由于问题现已解决，因此您的 NIC 或旧 NIC 的配置可能存在一些问题。
