使用 USB-C 适配器在 Dell XPS 15 上配置网络设备？

我安装了 Ubuntu 服务器 16.04（我的第一个服务器安装；面临安装 16.04 桌面时出现问题) 在 Dell XPS 15 9560 (2017) 上。笔记本电脑没有配备以太网端口。我正在使用 USB-C 适配器，但它没有检测到它。

我如何检测/安装适当的驱动程序以便可以启动并运行我的（Gnome）桌面？
