一家硬件公司将其软件平台作为 tarball 进行分发，其中包含一个没有 .git 目录的内核源代码树。我知道版本，也知道uname -a输出是什么。

有没有可行的方法来找到最近的上游提交，即最小化提交

diff -r linux/ /path/to/tarballed-linux/ | wc -l

或者我是否必须在某个合理的范围内迭代上述命令？

如果他们没有覆盖，Makefile您可以使用VERSION, PATCHLEVEL和SUBLEVEL来获取历史记录中的特定标签git。例如，如果它说：

VERSION = 4
