我出去检查了一下，发现 SonicWALL 设备有更新的固件版本，所以我下载了最新的固件包并更新了 SonicWALL。更新完成后，一切似乎都正常工作，但我必须离开一晚，所以我把它（和测试）留到了今天早上。
今天早上我进办公室的时候，我们有一些很奇怪我花了半天时间才解决的网络问题，包括（再次）一些VOIP 电话系统中的站点无法与 PBX 正确通信。由于前一天晚上一切似乎都正常，而且并非所有人都受到影响，所以我完全搞不清楚是什么原因造成的。我检查了防火墙，看看是否可以简单地回滚我刚刚应用的固件更新，但我在 UI 中没有看到任何选项。
我开始仔细检查整个网络，试图找出最新问题的原因。我查看了从防火墙规则到托管交换机日志、VLAN 标记、DHCP 地址租约以及我脑海中浮现的任何其他内容。经过几个小时的努力却毫无进展，我曾经与之讨论过该问题的网络/系统管理员朋友建议重启 SonicWALL。我仍然认为这不会有什么不同，但我认为此时重启不会有什么坏处，所以我们继续重启。
当 SonicWALL 恢复在线时，瞧！我的电话又开始连接到 PBX，其余网络似乎也稳定了下来。我又进行了一些测试，似乎我们又恢复了正常。虽然我非常感激，但我仍然不能 100% 确定为什么重新启动 SonicWALL 即可解决问题，因为应用新固件时我已经重新启动过。
无论如何，一旦我们的内部网络恢复正常，我就会再次尝试在我用于故障排除的机器上更新 Windows。这一次，更新检查成功，我能够下载并安装最新的更新。
我检查了遇到相同问题的其他工作站，它们现在似乎也都正常工作了。此时，我不得不假设是 SonicWALL 中的某些东西导致了这个问题，而固件更新/重启解决了这个问题。谢谢大家的帮助。
