无法在 /etc/hosts 中阻止网站

在我的 /etc/hosts 中我添加了这一行来阻止www.bbc.com/persian：

127.0.0.1 www.bbc.com/persian

我在 Antix Linux (Debian) 上使用 Firefox，但未能成功，该网站仍可像以前一样访问。如何使用 /etc/hosts 阻止该页面？
