更多的是换行

我在网上找到了下面的函数（感谢编写它的人）。问题似乎更多是包装输出。我喜欢逐页查看输出的选项，但不喜欢包装。我怎样才能更改为不换行，但允许像 less 或 more 命令一样滚动输出？
