尝试为文档的主标题添加副标题，但不起作用

这是之前大学告诉我用 LaTeX 写论文时要用到的内容：

\usepackage{pslatex}

基于这问题和我发现的其他问题我已经article改为scrartcl。

然后：

\usepackage{wrapfig}

  \subtitle{An update on the article 'The welcome demise of style' from the Economist, September 1989\cite{the welcome demise of style}}
  \author{me}
\maketitle

...

然而，这不起作用——当我运行latex essay.tex它时，它说字幕位是undefined control sequence，并且它在文档的第一页上自行出现字幕。
