Mail Server pop.verizon.net responded: Authentication failed

它使用上述值成功生成了一个帐户，但是当我尝试从我的 Verizon 收件箱获取任何邮件时，我收到以下消息：

Unable to connect to POP server pop.verizon.net

Error sending password ERR [AUTH] authentication failed

用户名和密码是正确的，因为我在 myverizon 和 webmail 上使用它们。

环境：

  • 运行 Ubuntu 的 PC - Precise Pangolin - 全部为最新版本

防火墙：

  • 防火墙未启用

  • sudo ufw status

    Status: inactive

调制解调器/路由器：

我的调制解调器是 Verizon、Westell，其防火墙设置为：

No Security (None)
all Traffic is allowed

verizon.net 电子邮件将迁移至 AOL Mail分阶段进行。所以，看起来他们那边有些事正在发生，而你只能忍受这些问题。

就我而言，aol 系统尚不知道用户 ID/密码，因此看起来没有人会承担责任。
