Ubuntu 发布了可用的软件（只要发布时有足够的时间进行打包、测试和包含) 在发布时；并且安全修复会被反向移植到该软件，除非安全修复的反向移植需要比切换到较新版本更多的时间（打包/测试）。
反向移植的升级不包括新功能，仅包括来自更高版本软件的安全修复。
如果您想要更高版本的软件包，最好每六个月升级到下一个版本（即 18.10、19.04、19.10 以及即将推出的 20.04）。
