“已解决”从 18.04 升级到 20.04.1 LTS 后出现一系列问题

之前的系统：Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS（现在设置图标下的关于下为 Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS ----在 TimeShift 程序中显示 Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS。）

  • 记忆：62. 直布罗陀
  • 处理器: 英特尔至强® CPU E3-1240 v5 @3.50 Hz 8
  • 显卡：livmpipe（LLVM 8.0 256 位）
  • GNOME：3.82.2
  • 操作系统类型：64 位
  • 磁盘：982.8

安装的磁盘：

  • 1.0 TB 磁盘 - Samsung SSD 97- Pro 1TB（操作系统所在位置）
  • 4.0 TB 硬盘 WDC WD4005FZBX-00K5WB0 (01.01A01) 标记为备份。用于备份 Ubuntu 18 和 Windows XP 中的文档。在运行/时间移位/备份时安装
  • 4.0 TB 硬盘 WDC WD4002FYYZ-01B7CB1 (01.01M03) 标记为 Backup1。用于在升级前备份 ubuntu 18。未安装
  • 999 GB 块设备 999 GB — 837 GB 可用（16.2% 已用）/dev/ubuntu-vg/root
  • 1.0 GB 块设备 .0 GB (1,023,410,176 字节) /dev/ubuntu-vg/swap_1

2020 年 10 月 28 日将 Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS 升级至 Ubuntu 20.04.28。

问题

  1. 将程序从一个显示屏移动到第二个显示屏将保持登录状态，但会看到登录屏幕的短暂闪烁，或者在某些情况下，程序将退出回到登录屏幕。

从 Ubuntu 网站下载 Ubuntu 20 到硬盘并从硬盘安装。下载 Ubuntu 20 并安装时没有发现任何错误，但在安装过程中却消失了。似乎没有出现包管理器问题。有没有办法确定？

已解决的问题：

1. Main problem the settings icon on the side menu --- when you double click in to open – screen goes to main log in screen.  
2. LibreOffice when doing a save will go back to main log in screen.  Seems to be no pattern sometimes it saves but 95 % time does not since upgrade to Ubuntu 20.  Have upgraded LibreOffice to 7.0.3.1.  Did not eliminated the problem.
3. After upgrade in LibreOffice the problem of going back to main log in screen is happening on pdf opened and saved from the internet.
4. Sound will work sometimes or will show a dummy icon for sound.  If you open the terminal and imput the following in the sound returns:  pulseaudio --kill; sleep 2s; sudo alsa force-reload ; pulseaudio –start     kill; sleep 2s; sudo alsa force-reload ; pulseaudio –start

16. Tried to play a mp4 video went to log in screen.  Other mp4 videos have played.

21. Both displays flickering – changed to recommended drivers.
