增加磁盘上的 inode 数量

我可以增加磁盘上的 inode 数量吗？如何增加？由于磁盘中有太多小文件，我的 inode 不够了。

如果可以选择备份和重新格式化，则可以使用-N以下选项mkfs.ext4：

-N number-of-inodes
      Overrides the default calculation of the number of  inodes  that
      should  be  reserved  for  the filesystem (which is based on the
      number of blocks and the bytes-per-inode  ratio).   This  allows
      the user to specify the number of desired inodes directly.

我搜索过，man tune2fs但似乎这个数字无法在现有文件系统上更改（tune2fs是用于更改文件系统的命令ext2-4）。
