我通过以下方式解决了该问题：
- 将 Lubuntu 版本升级到 15.10（没有 xorg.conf）。
- 将 OEM DP -> mDP 电缆换成 DP -> DP。
在 BIOS 启动屏幕期间，启动时仍然会出现闪烁（进入省电模式），但一旦 grub 接管，一切都会顺利稳定下来。
顺便说一下，另一台运行 Fedora 21（LXDE）的 Dell M4400 的设置没有出现此问题，这促使我尝试升级 Lubuntu。
当我在 Lubuntu 设置上使用专有 nVidia 驱动程序 (v352) 时，显示器在运行 neuveau 的戴尔笔记本电脑上运行得同样好。
没有预料到升级我的显示器设置会耗费我一周的时间......
