我正在尝试将外接显示器连接到我的 Thinkpad T540p。操作系统是 Xubuntu 18.04，显示器是 Dell U3011，我使用 HDMI -> Mini Displayport 电缆连接显示器。

不幸的是，我的 ThinkPad 根本无法识别显示器。我尝试了很多步骤此主题。

1a) 将默认显示管理器切换为 lightdm / gdm3

我尝试多次来回切换，但没有变化

1b) 希望它仍然连接到显示管理器，我将 xfce4 更新到 4.14，并另外尝试了 Wayland

不幸的是也没有成功

2）重新安装驱动程序

sudo apt-get purge 'nvidia*'
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers
sudo apt-get update
sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall

这不起作用，我认为 T540p 中的图形芯片是英特尔制造的？

3）尝试一些 xrandr 设置

我不知道下一步该做什么。显示器肯定能正常工作，我用另一台电脑测试了这一点。

已解决：问题出在电缆上，T540p 需要有源适配器才能将 HDMI 转为 Mini Displayport。使用 Displayport 转为 Mini Displayport 电缆即可立即使用。
