-i, --ip-address
          Display the network address(es) of the host name. Note that this
          works only if the host name can be resolved.  Avoid  using  this
          option; use hostname --all-ip-addresses instead.

这将获取主机名，执行该主机名的 DNS 查找，并显示相应的地址。

ip addr将为您提供所有接口、所有 IP、别名（如果有）以及 mac、状态等的完整列表。
