Ubuntu 服务器继续使用旧内核

我有一个运行 Ubuntu 服务器的 VPS。我已经安装了内核 5.3.0-18 并尝试了不同的方法，但无论我做什么，Ubuntu 都会继续启动内核 3.10.0。我最近从 Xenial 升级到 Focal。

我确实跑了

update-initramfs -u

并尝试过

grub-set-default
grub-reboot

但重新启动后 uname -sr 仍然返回 Linux 3.10.0。

有没有其他方法可以让（或强制）Ubuntu 启动较新的内核，我真的很想能够再次安装内核模块。

正如 icarus 和 AB 所指出的，这是由于提供商使用了 OpenVZ。

此后我更换了提供商（使用 KVM 的提供商），问题就消失了。
