我刚刚在新电脑上安装了 TeXworks（使用 ubuntu 10.4）。似乎所有必需的 texlive 包都已安装，无论如何我都可以使用终端编译 .tex 文档。但在 TeXworks 中尝试运行 pdfLaTeX 时出现：

你选择的是pdfLaTeX编译按钮旁边的 吗？Ubuntu 10.04 中的 TeXworks 版本默认是pdfTeX，它不会编译 LaTeX 文档。

这就是我所做的，它在我的 Linux MINT 上运行良好。

打开终端并安装 LaTeX 编译器（abntex）

~$ sudo apt-get install abntex

然后我安装了 TexMaker，它运行良好。
