\input epsf.sty         % read in epsf macros for figures
\input doublespace.sty      % thesis is double-spaced

这两个软件包都是上个世纪某个时候的，非常老旧了。我怀疑是双倍空间导致了这个问题（我根本没有这个文件）

注释掉这些行（并且不要在序言中再次加载双倍空间，如问题所示）

要包含图表，请使用标准graphicx包。如果您必须将文档设置为双倍行距，请使用setspace包。
