更改附录小节编号

在我的论文中，我有 8 个部分，在参考文献之前，我有一个附录。我将附录部分定义为，因为\section*{Appendix}附录不应该有数字。

我想在附录中添加两个小节，并希望对它们进行编号，即我希望有像A.1和 这样的编号A.2。但是，如果我将小节定义为\subsection，那么我看到的数字就是8.A。我该如何将其更改为A.1？
