MiKTeX 再次无法使用连字符

在 Overleaf.com 中编译时，“processes”一词会连字符为“pro-cesses”。但是，在使用 MiKTeX 编译时，没有连字符。我在 Ubuntu 18.04（MiKTeX 2.9.7050）中尝试了以下命令：

pdflatex main.tex

另外，我尝试使用 docker 镜像（MiKTeX 2.9.6980）：

docker run -ti -v `pwd`:/miktex/work miktex/miktex pdflatex main.tex

两种选择都会导致框过满，如附图所示。如何启用连字符？
