所有响应均由制造商决定。他们必须提供某些参数以保持 SMART 合规性，并且他们可能会提供附加功能，据他们了解，SmartCtl 工具开发人员会将这些功能添加到他们的应用程序中。

制造商甚至不必说明他们提供的所有数字范围所采用的尺度。该工具中的部分数据是通过观察数字变化的方式和原因而随着时间的推移而获得的。
