问题不再紧急。经过一番尝试，我发现雅虎国际版也可以通过“www.yahoo.com”启动。这与“us.yahoo.com”的效果相同。但如果安装了 LaTex，“us.yahoo.com”会冻结 Firefox，而“www.yahoo.com”则不会。所以我又可以工作了。
