我的环境有点不同。我从 14.04 更新到 16.04，再更新到 18.04。

我的台式电脑18.04已经安装了npm。

$ npm -version
3.5.2

# nodejs -v
v8.10.0

# apt install npm

Ubuntu Server 18.04 Node.js 和 npm 安装

sudo apt remove --purge nodejs npm
sudo apt clean
sudo apt autoclean
sudo apt install -f
sudo apt autoremove

最新版本请见：https://github.com/nodesource/distributions#debinstall 最新版本为 10.x

sudo apt install curl
curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_10.x | sudo -E bash -
sudo apt-get install -y nodejs
curl -sL https://dl.yarnpkg.com/debian/pubkey.gpg | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install yarn

npm -version
6.1.0
nodejs -v
v10.7.0
