torrent 种子下载会“访问”文件吗？

我能否通过上次“访问”文件的时间（由 Nautilus 报告）确定我之后没有通过 torrent 进行播种？播种会“访问”文件吗？我使用的是 Linux（Ubuntu）并使用 qBittorrent。
