合适的字体大小取决于文本宽度。实验表明，为了便于阅读，一页单列文本一行的字符数应在 60 到 70 之间。对于双列文本，每列的理想字符数约为 45 加或减 5。如果行太长，很难找到下一行的开头；如果行太短，眼睛就会不断地来回移动。
