系统日志不存在！

系统日志不存在！

我使用 14.04 并且没有 syslog。

我是 Linux 的新用户，多年来一直是 Windows 用户。当我尝试 tail syslog 时，结果如下：

henrique@henrique:/var/log$ tail -f /var/log/syslog
tail: couldn't open “/var/log/syslog” for reading: File or directory not found

是 Ubuntu 安装过程中出现错误吗？我可以用这种方法“安装” syslog 吗？

输出apt-cache policy rsyslog显示，rsyslog您的系统上未安装，因此

sudo apt-get install rsyslog
